| Thursday April 26, 2007 Someday maybe I will transform this page into a blog, but for right now, this is what it will be. I have been so busy getting things ready at my studio and preparing for the Open House scheduled for the first weekend in June. I am only going to write a short blurb here, as I need to get ready for my figure painting class this afternoon over at the Terry Miura Studio. I am learning so much about figure painting from my teacher Terry. I can't believe how fortunate I am to know him and study with him. He is my inspiraton and truly a master. | I did these figure practices during the Tuesday afternoon figure drawing class at Terry Miura's studio. I still have so much to learn, but practice, practice, practice. I always write notes on these practice drawings so I can refer back to them - sort of like a priceless drawing manuel containing invaluable notes from the master himself.. |
| June 1, 2007 Grand Opening of Patris Studio at Studio S12. I was overwhelmed by the support and encouragement from all my friends and acquaintances who came to the Open House and 2nd Saturday Artist Reception. I was truly blessed by the outpouring of everyone's kindness and inspiration. Thank you to everyone! |

| October 29, 2007 S12 is quickly becoming Sacramento's premier art venue. Along with Terry Miura's fantastic classes and open studios, we have now added water media workshops, art exhibits, art lectures and seminars for artists. Plans are in the works for even more art opportunities at S12 as we expand our horizons. On Thursdays, I have been studying figure painting with my mentor and master artist, Terry Miura. He has impacted my life in so many ways. I did this study in his class a few weeks ago. |
